ROTARACT CLUB OF PORT ELIZABETH The Rotaract Club of Port Elizabeth is a non-profit charity organisation that serves the community of Port Elizabeth, within the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Its membership consists of both males and females between 18 and 30 years of age. The Rotaract Club of Port Elizabeth falls under Rotary International District 9320. In existence since 1965, this well established Club, had its origins as a Rotors Club, and follows its motto of “Service of Above Self” in every task it performs. Meetings are held monthly on the third Wednesday at 18:00 at the German Club in Lorraine, and new members are always welcome.

This annual charity fundraising event, that is organised annually by the Rotaract Club of Port Elizabeth, and has been running for over 40 years, has reached and touched the lives of literally tens of thousands of children. Situated in a farm-like atmosphere with straw bales serving as an arena, and a toyland castle as the backdrop, children and their parents are taken on an evening’s magical fun filled trip with entertainment from host Uncle Jumbo, the “REAL” marching boys-brigade band, a visit from toy land in his convertible car by Noddy and his hard of hearing friend, Big Ears. |
